“You look hot, you look goooood!”
– Caleb Followill, 18th June 2026, Berlin
The American rock band from Tennessee, consisting of of brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill, entered the stage at Citadel on a very warm summers evening in Berlin. Straight with their hit ’17’ they opened the set, followed by their classics like ‘Waste a Moment’ and ‘Find Me’ – simply performing!
“Thank you very much! We’re Kings of leon!”, Caleb said. Later on he stated ” We always look forward to this on the tour. We have really good fans in Germany! (…) We wanna thank you all, we really appreciate it”.
The stunning venue of Citadel Berlin was very busy this night. People were standing on both sides of the stage and in the far back, trying to catch a glimpse of the band playing. The crowd was mostly a grown up generation, following the band’s journey for some decades and enjoying the sound.

The sound was as expected for a Kings of Leon show, very solid instrumentals with vocals as strong as ever. They of course played the classics and and their best-of-rock anthems and some of their new music. Not to forget the many sing along parts – “We have a couple of songs were we would like you to sing along!” – where the crowd fully embraced the moments.

They brought vibrant visuals on the stage, using their visualizer videos for their new songs (video above). Flashy lights behind the big LED-screen underlining the mood of the music and visuals showing. Poppy colours stating song names, trippy, psychedelic and artsy way of portraying the band, old hand hold film video scenes of mysterious creatures and naturalesque scenes supporting the message of their songs.
Their drum kit still embraces the classic DIY style ‘KOL’ tape look, which adds to the charm.
Style-wise the band was dressed very casual and lean back, later on Nathan took his shirt of, showcasing his many tattoos while playing drums and blowing bubblegum.

* Author’s note: We would have loved to show you more photos from the show, but unfortunately only 6/30 (edited!) shots have been approved by management. Which once again, kicked out some of our favourite and strongest shots – no reason given. We put a lot of effort, time and money towards our work & art and make sure to portray every artist in the best light possible. It’s frustrating to see, that this kind of appreciation doesn’t go both ways.
