“Thank you darling”
– Mac DeMarco, 17th June 2026, Berlin
Mac entered the stage on a beautiful summers evening in Berlin, introducing his current touring band members and praising the gorgeous weather whilst admiring the stunning venue, which is Spandau Citadel (one of the best preserved Renaissance fortresses of Europe).
Prancing around, throwing the microphone like a lasso and making funny noises, Mac is truly enjoying himself and the sounds of his music. His quite unique giggling in between songs just adds to the impression, that he clearly loves playing live.

The mellow indie tunes, flowing like waves in the ocean throughout the entire set, with strong instrumentals. From new songs like ‘Home’ and ‘Holy’, from his latest record ‘Guitar’ – which marks his 6th studio album, to classic bangers like ‘Salad Days’ and ‘Chamber Of Reflection’, his set offered a wide range of catchy sing-a-longs, groovy parts and more reflective topics.

DENIM and crocheted blankets! Lots of denim is to spot on stage – Mac himself is wearing an all blue double denim shirt and jeans look, completed by a blue cap and a pop of red coloured Vans.
His Drummer is wearing a denim Vest with denim trousers and the keyboarder did style the classic denim jacket with a pair of jeans – double denim at it’s finest, but in a very lean back and casual attire!
There’s no visuals or any banners on stage, just a bunch of colourful, crocheted blankets, covering the amp-boxes – which added to the unique experience of a Mac DeMarco live-show.
